The Texas Exes Dallas Chapter is a local chapter of the Texas Exes, the alumni association for the University of Texas at Austin. 

The purpose of the Texas Exes Dallas Chapter is to connect local Texas Exes to each other and to the past, present, and future of the University of Texas at Austin. 

The Dallas Texas Exes is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which raises money to provide Dallas and Collin county high school students scholarships to the University of Texas at Austin. 

The Texas Exes Dallas Chapter has a variety of committees and activities design to fulfill the Texas Exes purpose and vision in the Dallas and its surrounding cities!

 

Below is a description of vice president responsibilities: 

Vice President of Event - Promote opportunities for UT alumni through the Dallas Chapter's region.  Foster an atmosphere that encourages friendships, networking, and strengthen the chapter's engagement across any and all alumni.  EVENTS: Happy Hours, Saturday Summer events, and Community Outreach Events. 

Vice President of Alumni Engagement - To grow the volunteer base and encourage year long commitment. Committees: Legacy Group, Young Alumni, Open House, Executive Speaker Series, Community Service, Game Watch, and Texas Exes Business Network (TEBN) 

Vice President of Scholarship - To oversees DTE Scholarship process and serves as the liaison between DTE and UT admissions.  

Vice President of Sponsorship - To partner with businesses to identify and promulgate mutually beneficial win-win relationships.   

Vice President of Texas-OU - To create a variety  of events for the current students and alumni to participate during the Texas-OU Weekend Events.  Leverage activities to raise funds for student scholarships and create exposure to Dallas Chapter sponsors.  EVENTS: Get TEED off at OU, Bash before the Clash, Tailgate, and Game Watch. 

Vice President of Marketing/PR - To promote the organization through all available media channels.
