Thank you for chartering your Texas Exes Chapter for the new year, beginning on July 1! 

The Texas Exes staff wants to make this experience as simple as possible, so we have created this form to guide you through the entire process.

Please note that this form, including the Officer Listing, must be completed before you can submit it.

Due to the large number of documents that we receive from our 150 Chapters and Networks who charter each year, we cannot accept paper documents, partial or incomplete submissions. If you have any questions at any point, please contact the Texas Exes Chapters Manager, Jane Marie Agnew, at janemarie.agnew@texasexes.org.

While on this form, you will be required to turn in the following. Please complete these steps BEFORE continuing:

1) Non-Chartered Chapter Agreement - Please complete this form if you would like your chapter to be considered non-chartered for the 2018-2019 chapter year. Once you have signed, you will receive an email with a .pdf version of the Agreement form. Save that form for your records.

Note: Non-Chartered Chapters are required to submit a financial report if funds were taken by the Chapter during the prior year.

2) Chartered Chapter Agreement - Please complete this form if you would like your chapter to be considered chartered for the 2018-2019 chapter year. Once you have signed, you will receive an email with a .pdf version of the Agreement form. Save that form for your records.*Form required for chartered chapters.

3) Financial Report - Please use this form to list the income sources and expense categories for the previous chapter year. Once the Chapter Treasurer has signed, they will receive an email with a .pdf version of the Financial Report form. Save that form for your records.*Form required for both chartered and non-charted chapters that take in funds.

4) Officer Listing - Positions marked with an “*” are required and job descriptions are posted online here. As a reminder, each 2* through 4* Chapter is required to have a President, President-Elect, Membership Chair, and Treasurer. In order to diversify fiduciary responsibilities, the President and Treasurer cannot be the same person.  

All individual Chapter board members will need to provide their own contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email address, and acknowledge the Conflict of Interest form. All officers must fill out this form, also available at www.texasexes.org/chapter-officers, which will take about a minute to complete.
