I’ve always seen colors as storytellers. My fascination with hex codes—alphanumeric combinations that correlate to specific shades—began with my first business, where I learned that every color carries distinct meaning. Over time, these colors have become milestones in my story.

#344964, Indigo Dye, is the signature tone of the marketing agency I founded. It represents the creativity and adaptability I’ve developed serving clients in nearly a dozen diverse industries. Here, I learned to assess creative challenges, build targeted solutions, and convey my ideas across teams, all while nurturing client relationships.

#EB0028, TED Red, embodies the energy and passion of pioneering the first TEDx event in my school district. Leading over 30 students and staff, I coordinated auditions, programming, individual coaching, and every detail in between. This experience taught me the power in cultivating shared purpose as a leader. United by our goal of giving local voices a global platform, every member dedicated themselves to the event's success, reciprocating my own commitment, ultimately resulting in a collective vision that was far greater than I could have achieved on my own.

#ADD8E6A, Electric Blue, signifies the weight and hope of my work with Global Renewal, a global anti-human trafficking organization. Leading marketing operations, I conveyed the urgency and weight of this pressing issue by sharing stories of our young rescues with hundreds of people weekly, helping secure critical funding and support for our operations across borders. I even had the opportunity to speak at their annual fundraising gala, challenging the audience to turn their capabilities into instruments for positive societal change. Working with this incredible organization strengthened my conviction that my growing skillset can be used to drive meaningful, global change.

#BF5700, Burnt Orange, UT Austin’s iconic primary color embodies the bold and resilient Longhorn spirit—a color I am proud to now add to my personal palette. I firmly believe what starts at UT changes the world and I am excited to stand alongside this incredible community of ambitious dreamers.

What drew you to the Forty Acres Scholars Program?
I never could have imagined a community as strong and impactful as the one FASP cultivates—students who are not only exceptionally intelligent and ambitious, but genuinely kind and personable. From the moment I arrived on campus at Finalist weekend, it was evident that this program had the unique ability to identify individuals who were both brilliant and warm. A collection of undoubtably high achievers, yet one defined by support, encouragement, and inclusivity, rather than competitiveness. There is nothing else like this community, and I have been inspired—and completely hooked—ever since.
