This Football Season…Meet Me at the Alumni Center!

The Etter-Harbin Alumni Center, located in the heart of the University of Texas at Austin, is home to the largest tailgate in Texas. With over 10,000 attendees on average for each home game, the tailgate is bustling with activity.

The tailgate opens 3-hours before kickoff. A wide array of food and beverages are available for cash-only purchase, including beer, wine and mixed drinks. Alcohol sales cease at the end of the 3rd quarter. Did we mention restrooms? We have plenty.

The Texas Executive Education Program, offered by the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, offers Texas Exes members a 15% discount on all open enrollment programs. Courses are led by experts from UT Austin’s outstanding faculty, and are designed to strengthen business executives in areas such as leadership, innovation, strategic planning and project management. Each program merges real-world experience with academic knowledge to provide managerial perspectives and solutions that are beneficial for your organization. 

Texas Exes members receive special savings and pre-sale offers for select Texas Athletics events. Opportunities are shared as they are made available and may include access to game tickets, tailgates at select games, events around the country and more! 

As a member of Texas Exes, you have access to a special presale opportunity to purchase men’s basketball single game tickets. Tickets will be available to the general public October 17.

Both conference and non-conference tickets are available.

To help alumni avoid the risks of going without medical coverage, we’ve arranged for access to short-term medical insurance at competitive group rates. Based on need and location, alumni may select either a six or 12-month policy duration at the time of their quote. Rates are generally less expensive than continuing coverage under COBRA.

Four-year Student Life Memberships include a $50 credit toward a student's Official University of Texas class ring. The credit is redeemable once the student has reached 75 credit hours making them eligible to purchase a ring.

Member Ticket Service Policies & Procedures

• Obtain Your Numbered Pass: Numbered passes will be issued to individuals in line at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center main entrance 30 minutes prior to the tailgate open time.
• Wait for Your Turn: Tickets will be sold in the order of numbered pass sequence.
• Be Prepared to Present Your Member ID: Proof of membership (member card or Life Member keytag) must be provided to receive a numbered pass AND to purchase tickets.
  
  Important Policies to Note:
   
• The maximum number of tickets available to be purchased by each member will be determined on a game-by-game basis at the discretion of the Texas Exes.
• Only Life Members may purchase tickets during the first two hours Member Ticket Service is open. All other member levels (Annual, Student Life, Student Annual, Four-Year Members, and members with Life Member payment plans) are allowed to purchase tickets during the final 30 minutes of the tailgate.
• Proof of membership (member card or Life Member keytag) must be provided to purchase tickets and receive a numbered pass.
• Tickets are sold at market value.
• Ticket service closes once tickets are sold out.

TO SELL YOUR TICKETS: 

If you do not plan to use your home game football tickets, you may transfer them to us via the www.texassports.com portal or Texas Longhorns mobile app. We will send you the face value of the proceeds if your ticket sells, or you may elect to donate the face value proceeds to our general scholarship fund.  All sale proceeds above the face value are contributed to scholarships.

Every effort will be made to sell your tickets on gameday, but the Texas Exes cannot guarantee they will be purchased. You may elect to let them go unused or donate them for use by our staff.

Tickets should be transferred to accountingoffice@texasexes.org by accessing your account at www.texassports.com or the Texas Longhorns mobile app. Get instructions on how to transfer your tickets.

IMPORTANT: In order for your tickets to be offered for sale, you must follow up your transfer by completing this form. This critical last step allows our staff to properly account for all transfers and remit face value proceeds to ticket owners.
