We are the Black Alumni Network, our mission is to Identify, inform and involve Black alumni in all aspects of the Texas Exes and the Black Alumni Network. In addition, we want to increase the presence of Black matriculants by helping the University recruit and retain the best, the brightest, and most deserving Black students from around the state and around the nation. Our final goal is to connect the universe of Black alumni, Black students, and UT faculty, with individuals and corporations whose passion for higher education and diversity on the UT campus compels them to action, through Black Alumni networking and scholarship initiatives.

The Black Alumni Network is excited to announce the launch of our $1,000,000 Legacy Endowment!! The most ambitious and vital challenge ever undertaken by UT's Black alumni because never before have Black alumni joined forces, pooled resources and put in place a mechanism to increase the numbers of Black matriculants and eventual graduates from the University of Texas at Austin.
