Texas Independence Day Celebration

Saturday, March 03, 2012

Dan and Andrea Ellinor's
8002 S. Erie Avenue
Tulsa, OK     MAP

7:30 pm

Texas Independence Day is Upon Us!

It’s that time of year again! Time to celebrate the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence 176 years ago on March 2, 1836, when Texas settlers broke off from Mexico to create the Republic of Texas, or what outsiders refer to as the State of Texas.

We are having this party in conjunction with the huge game between the Longhorns and the Jayhawks. This will be the last game of the regular season leading into the Big XII Tournament and the beginning of March Madness.

Dan and Andrea will be cooking some fajitas, so please bring your own Texas-style dish to share with everyone. This fiesta is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverages), so feel free to bring some Texas-style drinks to share, as well.

Directions: The Ellinor’s house is located in South Tulsa, in the Holland Lakes subdivision across from Holland Hall school, which is one block east of Yale on 81st Street. Once you arrive, dial “Ellinor” at the gate and they’ll buzz you in.

Hope to see you there . . .

Hook ‘Em!
