International Chapter Leader Resources
International Chapter Leaders have access to unique resources, as well as the experience of the Texas Exes staff, to strengthen and promote their chapters.
If you want to start an International Chapter:
Inquire about starting a new international chapter by contacting Brian Ricter and include the city, country or region that you would like to in your chapter. We can update you on how many alumni are in your area, and then figure out the best way to begin organizing for events.
As of July 1, 2014, we are now offering four levels of commitment for international chapters:
International Contact: If you are interested in beginning the search for local alumni but don’t yet have the ability to organize events, this allows us to list your name and contact information on the website so that other alumni or prospective students can find you.
Non-chartered Chapter: If you are ready to begin scheduling events and have a website/social media presence, this will give you access to training and communication resources through the Texas Exes.
Chartered Chapter: If you are hosting regular events, including serious-minded content and key priority events such as Project Worldwide, and you have regular committee meetings with officers, this will give you access to additional emails and design resources through the Texas Exes.
Outstanding Chartered Chapter: If, in addition to hosting events and holding committee meetings, you are also raising significant funds for scholarships, then we want to reward you with even more communication and design assistance.
If you are ready to commit to becoming an International Chapter:
In order to become a Chartered International Chapter, you must turn in an Agreement, Officer Listing, and Bylaws by June 1 so that our Board of Directors can officially approve the chapter for the next Chapter/Network year.
