TESC > Job Shadowing
Now You Can Benefit from Job Shadowing All Year-Round!
The Texas Exes Job Shadowing Program is a year-round effort to introduce UT students to the world of work through job shadowing experiences.
For UT Students:
-
Get a view into all aspects involved in a job. You can observe not only job characteristics and responsibilities, but also what a profession requires on day-to-day basis
-
Learn first-hand what it takes to make it in your field of choice from the people who know best –Texas Exes
-
Solidify your career choice. Like test driving a car, UT students get to experience a side of their major that they normally wouldn’t be exposed to until post-graduation. They can try it out for a specified time to see if their career choice is a good fit for their personal strengths and personality type
For Texas Exes Alumni:
-
Motivate and prepare UT students to excel and preserve the value of a UT degree
-
Demonstrate a tangible commitment to supporting and improving the Longhorn community
-
Realize the personal satisfaction that comes from mentoring a UT student
