Annette C. Ramey-Graf and Arthur F. Graf III Scholarship
For entering or continuing students at The University of Texas at Austin who are from Bexar County. Recipients must have financial need and be well-rounded students who have demonstrated excellence in academics. Additionally, they should be active participants in extracurricular activities at school and in their communities. ($2,000/1 recipient)

Paul B. and Linda Sears Gray Memorial Scholarship
For entering freshmen from Comanche, Dublin, or Stephenville High Schools that are in the top 10 percent of their graduating classes. ($1,873/2 recipients)

Connie Garza Griffith Scholarship
For a graduate of a Starr County high school recommended by the superintendent and faculty. Academic achievement, character, leadership, and financial need are considered. ($3,200/1 recipients)

Ronald M. Guinn and Ann Bley Guinn Scholarship
Any undergraduate student of good character, who has evidenced good scholarship and leadership will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.  It may be awarded to the same student for more than one year if they are making satisfactory progress toward their degree with at least a 2.5 GPA.  First preference will be given to students from the Texas counties of Kimble and Tom Green with additional preference given to those majoring in engineering. ($1,800/1 recipient)

Hardin Family Scholarship
For a deserving entering freshmen at the University of Texas at Austin. ($1000/1 recipient)

Gladys Whitley Hearst Challenge Grant Scholarship
For a deserving entering Hispanic or African American freshmen at the University of Texas at Austin who is enrolled in the College of Communication. ($1000/1 recipient)

Jesse B. Heath Scholarship
For a graduate of Madisonville High School who has been accepted as an entering freshman at The University of Texas at Austin. Selection is based on academic excellence, moral character, and financial need. The scholarship is renewable, and recipients may reapply. ($2,600/1 recipients)

Alfred Heidenheimer Scholarship
For a deserving entering student who demonstrates financial need, with first preference given to graduates of Anson High School and second preference given to students from Jones County. The scholarship is renewable, and recipients may reapply. ($1,250/1 recipient)

Nell and G.P. (Perk) Herndon Scholarship
For an outstanding entering freshman. Financial need will be considered but not required. ($3,800/1 recipient)

R.L. Heinrichs Trust/Jamail-Long Challenge Grant Scholarship
For deserving African American or Hispanic entering freshmen that demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.  Can be continued for 3 more years if recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA.  ($5000/4 recipients)

Inman Family Challenge Grant Scholarship
For deserving African American or Hispanic entering freshmen that demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. Can be continued for 3 more years if recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA. ($1800/1 recipient)

Miriam Brown Keeler Scholarship
For entering freshmen, with first preference given to graduates of Cleburne High School. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of scholastic achievement and well-rounded personality, with financial need a third consideration. ($2,450/1 recipient)

Deborah Knapp Scholarship
Outstanding entering freshmen from San Antonio who have demonstrated academic merit, volunteer service, and financial need are eligible to receive this award. ($1,950/1 recipient)

Michelle and Konrad Kothmann Scholarship
First preference for entering Freshman from New Trier HS in Winnetka, Illinois. Second preference to any entering student from a Chicago area high school. Only recipients from New Trier HS are eligible to receive this scholarship for up to four years of undergraduate study but must maintain at least a 2.75 GPA. ($1,000/1 recipient)

William Marshall and Larry Wilson Langley Memorial Scholarship
For deserving entering freshmen with financial need, with first preference give to graduates of Austin High School in Austin, Texas. The scholarship may be continued for three additional years of undergraduate study if the student maintains at least a 3.0 grade point average. ($4,000/1 recipient)

Fred E. Lewis Jr./Belton High School Scholarship
This scholarship is for outstanding graduates of Belton High School in Belton, Texas, who are native Texans and will be entering freshmen at The University of Texas at Austin. Financial need will be considered. ($700/1 recipient)

Stacy and Kenneth Lewis Family Challenge Grant Scholarship
This scholarship is for deserving African American or Hispanic entering freshmen at The University of Texas at Austin with preference given to those from the Houston area. ($2,300/1 recipient)

Mary Ann “Sandy” Santleben Lunsford Memorial Scholarship
For an outstanding entering freshman from Victoria High School in Victoria, Texas with outstanding academic credentials who requires financial aid to attend The University.  Second preference will be given to students from either Yoakum High School in Yoakum, Texas or from St. Joseph High School in Victoria, Texas.  The scholarship may be continued over four years at The University of Texas at Austin provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 grade point average.  ($2,800/1 recipient)

Salvador and Viola Luna Endowed Scholarship
For an outstanding Hispanic entering freshmen from Houston or Harris County who will be an entering freshman at UT Austin and demonstrates scholarship, leaderhsip and financial need.($5,000/1 recipient)

Ginny Mandell Memorial Scholarship
For an outstanding entering freshman who has been accepted in the Department of Art and Art History.  First preference will be given to candidates nominated by the Chair of the Department of Art and Art History.  If no eligible students can be found in this preference group, any deserving entering freshman accepted in the Department of Art and Art History can be considered to receive the award. ($1,800/1 recipient)

Frank and Mollie Maresh Challenge Grant Scholarship
For deserving Hispanic entering freshmen who are admitted to the McCombs School of Business who plan to declare accounting as their major after 30 hours. The scholarship can be continued for a total of four years if the recipient remains an accounting major and makes satisfactory progress toward his or her degree. ($1,450/1 recipient)

R.W. McKinney Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was created by the Nacogdoches Texas Exes in the memory of Texas Ex R.W. McKinney. For deserving entering freshmen from Nacogdoches. ($3,000/1 recipient)

Stan McLelland Challenge Grant Scholarship
For deserving African American or Hispanic entering freshmen who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. The scholarship can be continued for a total of four years if the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA. ($8,600/1 recipient)

Sara May Meriwether Memorial and George K. Meriwether, III/Jamail-Long Challenge Grant Scholarship
For deserving African American or Hispanic entering freshmen in UT’s School of Nursing that demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.  Can be continued for 3 more years if recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA.  ($3,425/1 recipient)

Morton H. Meyerson Scholarships in Liberal Arts and Music
Outstanding entering freshmen who need financial assistance to attend college are eligible to receive these scholarships.  One scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in UT’s College of Liberal Arts and the other scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in UT’s School of Music. The awards can be renewed for a total of 3 additional years if the students maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average. ($3,600/2 recipients)

Aubrey A. Mollenhauer Memorial Scholarship
For an entering freshman who demonstrates a genuine desire to complete a degree plan at the University, and who displays integrity, ambition, and good citizenship. Financial need may be a consideration. This scholarship may be renewable, and recipients may reapply. ($1,750/1 recipient)

George O. Nokes Jr. Endowed Scholarship
For a student who has graduated from a Texas public high school, with preference given to students from small high schools in need of financial assistance to attend UT Austin. ($1,175 /1 recipient)

Nan Bennett Outlar Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1982 by the Wharton County Texas Exes in honor of Mrs. Outlar’s contributions in founding the chapter in the early 1970s. Worthy students from Wharton County are eligible to receive this award. ($950/1 recipient)

Bobby Parkinson Scholarship
For an entering freshman who is a native Texan and a graduate of a Texas high school. Selection will also be based on leadership demonstrated through extracurricular activity as well as financial need. ($987/1 recipient)

The Parrish Computer Science Scholarship
For a UT freshman who has been accepted into the Turing Scholars Program, an honors program for high-potential undergraduates in Computer Science.  Recommended by the chair of the Computer Science Department. ($2,000/1 recipient)

Carol and Jerry Pitts Scholarship
For highly motivated entering freshmen with ambition, integrity, high moral character and financial need.  Recipients must be Native Texans majoring in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Business who finished in the top 25% of their high school class.  First preference will be given to graduates of RobertE.LeeHigh School in Midland, Texas with second preference given to graduates of R.L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas.  The award may be continued for three additional years of undergraduate study provided that the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 overall GPA.  It will not be used for an athletic scholarship. ($5,000/1 recipient)

Nancy and Mark Reichek Scholarship
For deserving entering freshmen with demonstrated academic and extracurricular accomplishments that have financial need. The scholarship can be continued for three more years provided the recipient maintains satisfactory progress toward his or her degree. ($2,225/1 recipient)

James M. and Marian Hartman Richardson Scholarship
For deserving entering freshmen from a public high school in Gregg County, Texas (Kilgore, Spring Hill, Gladewater, Sabine, Longview, Pine Tree, White Oak) and/or Marion County, Texas (Jefferson) who will attend the University of Texas at Austin and demonstrate academic achievement, character and leadership.  ($1,075/1 recipient)

Robert A. Roberts Family Endowed Scholarship
For an entering freshman student at The University of Texas at Austin with financial need and academic merit. The student can continue to receive the scholarship for up to four years of undergraduate work provided that he/she makes satisfactory progress toward a degree. ($2,500/1 recipient)

William Blake Rodriguez Challenge Grant Scholarship
For a deserving Hispanic entering freshman at The University of Texas at Austin with financial need who has been admitted to Plan II. The Director of Plan II will recommend a recipient or recipients annually to the Texas Exes Scholarship Committee. ($1,000/1 recipient)

Mae Rowland Memorial Scholarship
Entering Freshman from Del Rio High School with academic merit, leadership and financial need. ($1,500/1 recipient)

Jim B. and Gladys James Russell Memorial Scholarship
For an entering freshman of outstanding character, citizenship, and scholastic achievement who also demonstrates financial need. First preference is given to students from the East Texas area of Kilgore, Longview, or Jefferson. ($1,900/1 recipient)

Susan and Richard Santamaria Scholarship
For entering freshmen from Dripping Springs High School who are well-rounded and deserving students. ($950/1 recipient)

R.B. and Goldie Easter Miller Senseman Memorial Scholarship
For entering freshmen with demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, and good character. ($2,950/1 recipient)

Senator Florence Shapiro Challenge Grant Scholarship
For deserving Hispanic or African American entering freshmen with financial need from Plano, Texas.  The scholarship can be continued for three additional years if the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 grade point average. ($2,000/1 recipient)

Silver Spurs/Joe M. Dealey Memorial Scholarship
For a deserving male entering freshman with demonstrated financial need from an Austin area high school. ($950/1 recipient)

(ESA-SOPER) The Soper Scholarship
For deserving entering freshmen students from the state of Tennessee who have demonstrated integrity, academic excellence and extracurricular involvement. Preference will be given to those from the counties of Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Davidson, DeKalb, Dickson, Fentress, Franklin, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Moore, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Summer, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson. ($1,000/1 recipient)

Susan Eddy Soza and William Soza Challenge Grant Scholarship
For deserving Hispanic entering freshmen with first preference given to those from Presidio High School in Presidio,Texas. Second preference will be given to graduates of Marfa High School. The scholarship can be continued for a total of four years if the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA. ($17,800/3 or 4 recipients)

G. Rankin Starkey Memorial Scholarship Fund
For an entering freshman, with first preference given to a graduate of Tivy High School in Kerrville. Students from Ingram or Center Point High Schools will also be eligible to apply. Based on academic merit and financial need. ($1,800/1 recipient)

Edwin Styron Scholarship
For entering freshmen who show exceptional ability, motivation, and promise of a future leadership role in a chosen field. Must show financial need. ($2,500/1 recipients)

Terrell County Scholarship
For an entering freshman who demonstrates financial need. First preference will be given to students from Terrell County attending the School of Nursing. Second preference will be given to any applicant from Terrell County, and third preference will be for any nursing student. ($3,600/1 recipient)

The Texas Cowboys/Gabriel Higgins Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving entering freshman or currently enrolled sophomore student at The University of Texas at Austin, with selection to be based on outstanding leadership abilities, character, and financial need. ($1,635/1 recipient)
