The Alcalde, UT’s award-winning alumni magazine that will keep you informed about what’s happening on campus.

Come to the biggest Tailgate in Texas at the Etter-Harbin AlumniCenter. Current members, one guest, and children 18 and under are free when accompanied by a member. All other non-members will be charged a $5 entrance fee and must be accompanied by a member. Remember to bring your membership card or Life Member key tag for admittance.

Hook up with inCircle. With InCircle, you create a profile and link it to the profiles of your friends. Your friends connect to their friends, and soon, a giant network is created of people within the UT community. And you can search your network based on criteria such as profession, college major, location – anything! InCircle is a great way to find old friends – and to make new ones
How can I stay involved with the university?

Network and socialize with other alumni at Texas Exes Chapter events. There are over 100 Chapters worldwide. Look for New Grad events held specifically for graduates of the last five years.

The Texas Exes Business Network holds business speaker receptions and networking events for member interested in business networking and professional education.
How will I keep in touch with friends and classmates?
Claim your permanent @alumni.utexas.net e-mail forwarding address, and update your alumni profile online to use the Texas Exes Online Directory to keep in touch with old roommates or network with peers.
I’m looking for a job, how can I access the network of UT alumni?
Register for the Texas Exes Career Network, our online database designed to connect alumni to each other and to students for business networking purposes.

Where can I go for career direction in this job market?
Our Career Services program can help you with a variety of career-related issues.

Careers Over Coffee. Weekly, informal group session which provides members an overview of the career services and resources offered.

Career Counseling. One-on-one career counseling appointments, either in person or by phone, are offered to assist with career focus and direction, effective resumes, job searching resources, networking opportunities, interview and negotiation skills, and lifelong career choices. One free appointment per year is available to members.

Career Coaching. For members seeking additional career services, Career Coaching is available for a fee. Coaching assists individuals through the career or job search process by helping develop a strategy, stay focused, and track progress. Coaching is conducted by phone. Cost: Life Members -- $25 per session or $80 for 4-session package; Annual Members -- $50 per session or $180 for 4-session package.

Assessments. Take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory online. Contact Career Services to take assessments and schedule free interpretation.
How will I get medical insurance?
We have a plan for recent college graduates, people between jobs or those who have just begun a new position, but are not yet eligible for employee benefits.
I need renters and auto insurance, where can I find good rates?
Members can now get auto, renters, and home insurance at competitive rates from Liberty Mutual.
