At Camp Texas you have the opportunity to connect with student leaders, university faculty, and administrators. You will participate in team-building initiatives and other fun, small-group exercises facilitated by upperclassmen counselors. Our counselors are highly-trained student leaders who know what it takes to be successful at UT.

In 2010, you’re new and it pays to have fun! It’s time to laugh, learn, and celebrate. Camp activities are focused on experiential leadership development, and you’re guaranteed to have a great time with other incoming freshmen.

Camp Texas is held in the heart of the Texas Hill Country at Camp Balcones Springs, just outside Marble Falls. Everyone enjoys air-conditioned cabins with bunk beds and the camp features a private, spring-fed lake. You won’t want to miss the "Blob", rope swing, canoes, swimming, and water slide. There are also other recreational activities to enjoy during free time, including tennis, basketball, pool, volleyball, and more!

The leadership skills, knowledge, and support you gain at Camp Texas will give you the extra advantage as you begin your career at UT. Camp Texas is an opportunity you can’t afford to miss, so register today!
