Display your Longhorn Pride! Order the University of Texas Longhorn License Plate today!

The University of Texas collegiate license plate program benefits former, current, and future Longhorns through scholarships and by exhibiting pride in THE University of Texas. Twenty-two dollars of the $30.00 cost of the license plates goes directly to the "Longhorn License to Learn" scholarship fund, a need-based scholarship for UT students. The $22 donation is tax-deductible and considered a charitable contribution. You do not have to be a student at UT Austin or a Texas Ex to order the plates, however you must live in Texas. The plates are your property and can be transferred to a new car after completing the proper forms. If you already have the old "Tower" license plate and want the new one, send a $5.00 damaged-plate fee to the Dept. of Transportation with a note requesting the new design.

The license plates can be personalized for an additional $40. To keep the Longhorn License Plates, you will need to pay the $30 fee every year. The $22 remains tax deductible every year and is always applied to scholarships.
