Since 1948 Texas Parents, the Parents' Association of The University of Texas at Austin, has supported the needs of students and their parents. Texas Parents keeps parents informed, creates positive ways for parents to be involved with the University and acts as a liaison between parents/families and the UT administration, offices and departments. Standout events include Family Weekend and Family Orientation. Parents who purchase a four-year membership in Texas Parents receive a four-year membership in Texas Exes.
