Texas Exes Annual Giving Club and Legends Club
The Texas Annual Giving Club provides generous support for the Texas Exes, funding everything from special events to day-to-day operation. The Annual Giving Club is made up of Exes and friends who recognize the important role that the Texas Exes play in maintaining and raising the quality of students, professors, teaching assistants, and advisors here at UT. Annual gifts of $2,500 or more entitle a donor and a guest to access the Alumni Center's new Legends Club Room before, during and after all home football games, and to park in the Trinity Garage. The Legends Room, located on the first floor of the Alumni Center, features six flat screen televisions, and provides complimentary food and soft drinks, in addition to one complimentary alcoholic drink ticket per member, or two per couple, at each home game. Scholarships & Teaching Awards
Rewarding excellence in scholarship, teaching, and professional achievement continues to be a central theme of Texas Exes activities. Our scholarship program continues to grow, with numerous new scholarships added each year. Each year, approximately $2 million in scholarships is awarded to over 700 students.
CampTexas – A unique leadership experience for incoming freshmen
Since its inception in 1992, over 4000 incoming freshmen and 720 student counselors have benefited from quality leadership training and one-on-one interaction with fellow students, faculty, and administrators at Camp Texas. These students have acquired leadership skills and practical knowledge that has helped them succeed at the University.
Texas Exes Student Chapter
More than 2500 current students joined the Texas Exes Student Chapter last year. From participating in our extensive alumni job shadowing program, to mentoring children at the UT Elementary School, to coordinating two successful football rallies that helped propel the Longhorns to their national title, the student chapter offers diverse opportunities for all undergraduates to find meaningful involvement at their university.
