About the Endowment

The Texas Exes have a rich tradition of supporting students at the University of Texas. It all began in 1899 with the first scholarship, and we now award more than 700 scholarships annually.

The Challenge

However, staggering costs of living, increased tuition rates and global competition have created a new set of challenges. Simply put, exceptional students are presented with opportunities they cannot fund.

Our Solution

A new initiative- the Student Opportunity Endowment- is an investment in students who seek to grow academically and individually. This initiative will give them a resource for continuing their growth and momentum.

Leave a Legacy

As a lasting legacy of the Texas Exes’ 125th anniversary, we begin the task of creating a $1.25 million endowment to enhance the student experience. Each member is asked to make a one time contribution and be a part of this fund that will impact students for generations to come.
